AIMEE LIU APPOINTED TO AED ADVISORY BOARD

02-Oct-2006

Dear Friends,

I have a most exciting announcement. Today Kelly Klump, president-elect of the Academy of Eating Disorders, invited me to join the Academy's brand new advisory board.

The Academy is an international organization of eating disorder researchers and clinicians whose goals are to promote cutting edge research and education. Members of the Academy, such as Drs. Walter Kaye, Michael Strober, and Joel Yager, were invaluable sources to me during the writing of GAINING. Their research is dramatically changing how we define, treat, and prevent these illnesses. I am deeply honored by this invitation.

To learn more about the work of the Academy and its members around the globe, please visit the Academy's website by visiting www.aedweb.org

Be well,
Aimee
